I think @StephenJayy that’s good BUT the muslims are seriously opposed to homosexuals. in most muslim countries it is a death sentence for simply being gay … bit harder for this guy to simply come out.
@SylviaRobbane very hard for you. sadly, many of the gay guys i know who grew up in a muslim home have had a very tough time with their parents. i dont know all your circumstances but perhaps you can find out what they think of homosexuals – and go from there. if you need someone to talk to maybe chat to some gay teens (uk) online

Hun, if you’re only 14, I’d sit on it for a few years until you gain more independence and some structure of support outside of your family. Furthermore, I would strive to get out and establish your own identity separate from your families. In America, they may surprise you. They may not, though, and if you still live with them you’re in for some rough times.
@rjs0416 i really want to come out to my family, but i’m a muslim and well muslims and gays don’t really go together. so i guess your right i am really scared of rejection from my family and the worst thing is that i’m only 14 which makes it even worse and makes me really stressed.
