public school only teaches us to be on time, dont ask any questions, obey authority, take orders.
we should have a different way of teaching.

So you thing the education’s goal is only to prepare children to work in the design dpt instead of the shop floor? I think it is much more than that…
Poor video, poor ideas.
February 6th, 2010 at 7:35 pm
But children need guidance in distinguishing good references from trash on the internet…and what about trying to get resources which aren’t available online?

I think But what is creativity, if you don’t know anything? I’ve also seen too emphasis on ‘being creative’. It sounds hazy and frankly, it doesn’t help. Being creative occurs within a domain of knowledge or artistic skill: it’s not a floating attribute that comes from the sky.

I think Technology should not be touted as a cure-for-all in education if there is no evidence to back up the assertions. There’s too much hype over what computers and such like can do for the student.
“You can help a student think…but you can’t make them think.”
February 12th, 2010 at 7:28 am
I’d much rather of been educated 20 years ago
February 14th, 2010 at 2:44 am
Really really bad video. All you’ve done is copied the ‘Did you know’ videos and made your own bad edit.
February 16th, 2010 at 11:57 am
I think Great Video!! Thanks
February 16th, 2010 at 2:11 pm
I don’t care how many college degrees you have our how many computers you put in the class room. Jobs will migrate with the lowest possible wage that also means people who have college degrees. LOL ! it’s a race to the bottom Robert Kiyosaki was dead on the nail when he said that more and more people competeing for less and less jobs that pay less less and less. Welcome to the global economy folks.

Books are not for EVERYONE…
In schools area where the drop out rate is highest – build trade schools. Teach them Farming, Truck driving, Welding, Brick mason, ect … teach them a JOB!

Interesting video.
Considering that today, most kids are “too lazy” to write proper English, I despair at what the world will come to in 20 years’ time.
February 24th, 2010 at 9:42 am
I think @englishforasians=Thanks, you maybe right..? But, Government shall
always have The Plans-Directions, for what is good Education for the future of American children..? Yet, I agreed with @staciejacobsen (2
Not everything can be learned in school, but spelling can
Thanks.

@louielamson2000 = or forget government and direct our own learning. Is Change & Technology going to slow down for government? Do we want to slow down for Govt. to change?
February 27th, 2010 at 7:00 am
I think @staciejacobsen – “learnt” is a word. It’s the past tense and past perfect of “learn”. Not everyone spells things the American way. FYI, no offence, I didn’t learn English spelling in school coz we only had 2 half hour foreign language lessons a week in elementary. But I can spell pretty OK.
February 28th, 2010 at 2:47 pm

I think Jehovah The personal name of the only true God. His own self-designation. Jehovah is the Creator and, rightfully, the Sovereign Ruler of the universe. Jehovah is translated from the Hebrew Tetragrammaton, יהוה, which means He Causes to Become. These four Hebrew letters are represented in many languages by the letters JHVH or YHWH.
